Meskwaki Casino

Meskwaki Casino & Hotel was the host of Heartland Poker Tour last weekend. I spend four days there and I have to say I'm very satisfied with the object and services. Casino is located in the heart of Iowa, Tama county, at the intersections of Highway 63 and 30. for the last few years this area has bean one of the top pheasant hunting areas in the state. For more informations visit http://www.tamatoledo.com/
Hotel with new added tower has over 400 rooms. Casino offers over 1600 machines and all popular table games.

Action in the poker room never stops. Texas Holdem is the most popular game, but H.O.E. with blinds 1-2-5 has the most action. It's pot limit round-by-round with Holdem, Omaha High and Omaha Eight.  the bad beat jackpot for texas Holdem games is another incentive. They also hosts many tournaments and I may go back in May to play $300 buyin Meskwaki Classic.  Call Card room staff for current promotions and/or tournament schedules at 1-800-728-4263 ext 2119   http://www.meskwaki.com/

During the $1/2 cash game we had this interesting hand. On my right I had a Cub's fan who was so unlycky, and he lost all big pots. This is just an example.  There was a raise and reraise preflop, but pocket aces didn't push, so the Minnesota girl was able to stay in the hand. Cubs fan finished as the third best.
