This blog is about my poker games. We all have stories about the big pots, bluffs, bad beats, etc. Here are mine. As I promised to my friends at the Ho-Chunk Casino in Baraboo, WI one day I'll write the book titled "And then I saw the flop" based on my adventures in casinos. This blog is my notepad. You are wellcome to comment, call me a donkey, but please let me enjoy my ride. My ID on the most poker sites is "Navajo Guy", and in local live games I'm known as "Mr. Wegas".

Poker Game Busted By Police

Chicago - It's a home remodeling store by day. But at night, Oak Lawn Police business really picks up.
"Do you ever see customers going in and out of the remodeling shop? Never the front door,” Gus Kukowski said about the business next door to his guitar store on Southwest Highway. “I see once in a while, people going in the back. I don't know who they are."
For nearly a week, area business owners said when most stores close for the day, the True Remodeling shop has been open.
At about eight o'clock Monday night, Oak Lawn Police busted up a poker game. Twenty five men were arrested and charged with gambling.
The salon owner next door said he saw about 50 cars in the parking lot when he left work and asked the landlord all about it.
"Yeah I see poker tables inside the property, I went in there to carry beet with him and I see the tables and I questioned him and said, how come they have their games here?” Michael Alexander, a salon owner said. “He said, you know and I see the chips.”
In all, police picked up about $1200. Law officials say in Illinois, unless you have a state issued license to gamble, you're going to jail. Business owners along Southwest Highway said they hope the other tenant has folded his cards for good.
"It's not right,” Alexander said. “They have to respect everybody's business you know because this is a good neighborhood."
Police said the investigation continues. They're trying to figure out how long the games have been going on and they're also trying to figure out who the joker is who's been setting them all up.

My New Card Protector
Last week I found online two interestiong coins, and decided to buy both and use as a card protector in poker games. I recomend it to all patriots and poker players.
The Freedom Coin http://www.freedomcoin.net/ was designed by a 20 year veteran of the US Navy by way of a dream he had that woke him up in the middle of the night. The Freedom Coin is a result of that dream.
The American Patriots Medallion http://www.americanpatriotsmedallion.com/ as a gift, an award, or as a way to teach our children and grandchildren about the special place in which they live

Online Poker After The Black Friday
Two weeks ago the Obama administration has just trampled on the rights of millions of Americans. This is also a scary reminder of President Obama's vision of a government with the power to shut down websites it doesn't like, before a trial has even started. The adults should have the right to gamble with their own money. Government has no business interfering. Congress should repeal the laws that prohibit gambling, whatever the format. The shut down of the big three online poker sites is not the end of the online poker for americans. WPT Hand
Last week at WPT final table I saw an interesting hand. It started with a pre-flop raise by Jason holding 6,5 and bravely bluffing all the way to the river. Click on the photo to see all cards.
